Child Safety and CSAE Policy

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Meetchi has zero tolerance for:

• Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation;
• Child Sexual Abuse Material;
• grooming or sexually soliciting minors;
• sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors;
• sextortion involving minors;
• attempts to arrange sexual contact with a minor;
• sexualised depictions of minors;
• content that promotes, facilitates, requests, distributes, or normalises child sexual abuse or exploitation; and
• any attempt to use Meetchi to identify, contact, recruit, manipulate, exploit, or harm a minor.

Any user found engaging in such activity may be permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities.

2. Adults-Only Service

Users must be at least 18 years old to use Meetchi.

By creating an account, each user confirms that they are at least 18 years old and that the date of birth and identity information they provide are truthful and accurate.

Users must not:

• create an account while under 18;
• provide a false date of birth;
• impersonate an adult;
• use another person’s identity or documents;
• allow a minor to use their account;
• create an account on behalf of a minor;
• attempt to bypass age-verification measures; or
• help a minor gain access to the Service.

Providing false age or identity information is a serious violation of this Policy and the Meetchi Terms of Use.

Meetchi may request age, identity, photo, or liveness verification at any time. Accounts may be restricted, suspended, or permanently terminated where a user refuses verification or where there is a reasonable suspicion that the user is under 18.

Although Meetchi uses reasonable safeguards to prevent underage access, no verification system is entirely error-free. Users must immediately report any account they believe may belong to a person under 18.

3. Prohibited CSAE and CSAM Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• uploading, creating, requesting, possessing, transmitting, distributing, selling, exchanging, or promoting CSAM;
• sharing links, usernames, group invitations, websites, cloud-storage folders, or external platforms containing CSAM;
• requesting sexual photographs, videos, audio, livestreams, or messages from a minor;
• encouraging or coercing a minor to create intimate or sexual content;
• grooming a minor for sexual purposes;
• attempting to move a conversation with a suspected minor to another application or platform;
• arranging or attempting to arrange an in-person meeting for sexual purposes with a minor;
• offering money, gifts, subscriptions, cryptocurrency, accommodation, transport, or other benefits in exchange for sexual conduct involving a minor;
• threatening to publish or distribute intimate material involving a minor;
• blackmailing, extorting, coercing, or intimidating a minor;
• facilitating child trafficking, sexual exploitation, or prostitution;
• pretending to be a minor for predatory, exploitative, or unlawful purposes;
• sexual role-play involving minors or persons presented as minors;
• sexualising childhood photographs;
• uploading nude or sexually suggestive images of children, including childhood photographs of the account holder;
• using drawings, animations, artificial intelligence, edited images, or fictional content to sexually depict minors;
• discussing, encouraging, normalising, or instructing others how to abuse or exploit children;
• attempting to purchase, sell, trade, or obtain access to child sexual abuse content;
• helping another person conceal CSAE or CSAM activity; and
• retaliating against a person who reports suspected child exploitation.

This prohibition applies regardless of whether the content is real, computer-generated, illustrated, manipulated, fictional, or presented as a joke.

4. Profile and Content Rules

Users must not upload or display:

• photographs or videos containing minors as profile content;
• photographs of children in sexualised, nude, partially nude, or suggestive contexts;
• family photographs where a minor can be identified, unless expressly permitted by Meetchi and clearly non-sexual;
• content that exposes a child’s private information;
• content that identifies a child’s home, school, routine, location, or contact details;
• captions, biographies, usernames, emojis, or coded language that sexualise minors;
• links or references to illegal child-exploitation content; or
• content designed to evade child-safety moderation.

Meetchi may remove any content involving a minor where its context, purpose, ownership, consent, or safety cannot be reasonably verified.

5. Grooming and Predatory Behaviour

Grooming means building trust, emotional dependence, secrecy, or control over a minor for the purpose of abuse or exploitation.

Prohibited grooming behaviour includes:

• asking a suspected minor to keep conversations secret;
• encouraging a minor to hide communication from parents or guardians;
• gradually introducing sexual topics;
• offering gifts, money, status, affection, or opportunities to gain control;
• asking for private or disappearing conversations;
• requesting photographs or video calls from a minor;
• manipulating a minor through guilt, threats, affection, or promises;
• attempting to isolate a minor from trusted adults;
• asking a minor to lie about their age; and
• coaching a minor on how to avoid detection.

Any suspected grooming behaviour may result in immediate account suspension while an investigation is conducted.

6. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Users must immediately report:

• an account believed to belong to a person under 18;
• suspected grooming;
• sexual communication involving a minor;
• suspected CSAM;
• threats, coercion, sextortion, or blackmail involving a minor;
• child trafficking or exploitation;
• an adult attempting to arrange a meeting with a minor; or
• any other behaviour that may place a child at risk.

Reports may be submitted through:

• the in-app reporting feature;
• the profile reporting menu;
• the message or conversation reporting feature; or
• info@meetchi.com.

When making a report, provide only the information necessary to identify the account, conversation, or incident.

Do not download, copy, save, screenshot, forward, email, or redistribute suspected CSAM. Possessing or distributing such material may itself be illegal.

Where a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law-enforcement authorities immediately.

7. How Meetchi Responds to Reports

When Meetchi receives a credible child-safety report, we may:

• immediately restrict access to the reported content;
• temporarily suspend the account;
• permanently terminate the account;
• remove photographs, messages, profiles, or other content;
• request age or identity verification;
• review relevant account activity and communications;
• investigate linked or duplicate accounts;
• prevent the user from creating new accounts;
• preserve relevant evidence and technical records;
• cooperate with child-protection bodies and law-enforcement authorities; and
• take any other action reasonably necessary to protect a child.

Meetchi may take immediate action without prior notice where there is a potential risk to a minor.

For privacy, safety, and legal reasons, Meetchi may not disclose the full details or outcome of a child-safety investigation to the reporting user.

8. Reporting to Authorities

Where Meetchi becomes aware of apparent CSAM, child sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, or a credible threat to a child, we may report the matter to relevant authorities or child-protection organisations.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, reports may be made to:

• local law-enforcement authorities;
• national child-protection authorities;
• the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children;
• the Internet Watch Foundation;
• regulatory authorities;
• emergency services; or
• another competent organisation responsible for child protection.

Meetchi may preserve and disclose account information, messages, IP addresses, device information, reports, media, and other relevant evidence where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect a child.

9. Data Preservation

Meetchi may preserve information relating to suspected CSAE or CSAM, including after an account is suspended, terminated, or deleted.

Preserved information may include:

• account identifiers;
• profile information;
• uploaded content;
• relevant messages;
• login history;
• IP addresses;
• device identifiers;
• moderation records;
• user reports;
• verification information;
• subscription or payment metadata; and
• enforcement history.

Such information may be retained where necessary to:

• protect a child;
• prevent further abuse;
• identify linked accounts;
• comply with legal obligations;
• respond to lawful preservation requests;
• support investigations;
• report offences; or
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

10. False or Malicious Reports

Child-safety reports must be made honestly and in good faith.

Users must not knowingly submit false reports to:

• harass another user;
• retaliate after rejection or disagreement;
• cause an account to be unfairly suspended;
• disrupt a safety investigation; or
• misuse the reporting system.

Knowingly submitting a malicious or fraudulent report may result in account restrictions or termination.

This does not prevent users from making a genuine report where they have a reasonable concern, even if the concern is later found to be unsubstantiated.

11. User Responsibility

All users have a responsibility to help maintain a safe adult community.

Users must:

• provide accurate age and identity information;
• never allow a minor to access their account;
• report suspected underage accounts;
• report suspected exploitation immediately;
• avoid sharing sensitive personal information;
• never engage in sexual communication with a person they suspect may be under 18;
• end communication immediately if another person states or indicates that they are under 18; and
• cooperate with reasonable safety and verification requests.

A user who becomes aware that another user may be under 18 must stop all romantic or sexual communication and submit a report.

12. Account Enforcement

Violations of this Policy may result in:

• content removal;
• warning;
• feature restrictions;
• mandatory verification;
• temporary account suspension;
• permanent account termination;
• device or identifier blocking;
• prevention of future account creation;
• preservation of evidence;
• cancellation of access to paid features where legally permitted;
• reporting to app stores; and
• reporting to law-enforcement or child-protection authorities.

Serious child-safety violations normally result in permanent termination without warning.

13. Cooperation with App Stores and Safety Organisations

Meetchi may cooperate with:

• Google Play;
• Apple App Store;
• law-enforcement authorities;
• child-protection organisations;
• trusted flaggers;
• online-safety organisations;
• hosting and infrastructure providers;
• content-moderation providers; and
• other organisations working to prevent child exploitation.

Where appropriate, Meetchi may share limited information necessary to investigate violations, prevent repeat abuse, protect users, or comply with applicable law.

14. Policy Updates

Meetchi may update this Policy to reflect changes in:

• applicable law;
• child-safety standards;
• app-store requirements;
• technology;
• moderation practices;
• reporting procedures; or
• the Service.

The updated version will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date.
